Today I realized I no longer care about doing fun “holiday” things. It is very difficult to get to a point of clarity and strength that allows me to realize this, turn down offers of extraneous events with low reward, and not send out cards and gifts, all without feeling like the Grinch or Scrooge. It’s effing empowering.
